Inviting workspace and project members

Inviting workspace and project members

You can easily invite relevant collaborators into different workspaces and projects in Allo. In this article, we will talk about:

  • What workspace members are and how to invite them
  • What project members are and how to invite them

Workspace Members

When members are invited into a workspace, they will be able to view and edit all the projects and canvases inside that workspace (except for private projects and canvases) automatically.

Invite Workspace Members

To invite new workspace members, click the "+" button towards the top of the dashboard. You will be brought to the admin console.

There are two ways to invite:

  1. Enter collaborators' email addresses and click "Invite". They will receive an invitation to join via email.
  2. Toggle on "Invite via link", copy the link, and send the link through any medium. (Protip: If you don't want people to join through the link anymore, feel free to turn off the sharing links by clicking the toggle or click on "Renew Link". The old link will automatically become invalid.)

Note: Only workspace admins can invite members into the workspace.

Project Members

When members are invited into a project, they will have full access to all the canvases inside that project automatically.

Invite Project Members

Other than your workspace members, you can invite other external collaborators into specific projects. Inside the project you desire to share, click on the "+" button towards the top.

Same as the workspace, there are two ways to invite:

Note: Only project owners have control over project sharing links.
